We offer a full range of services to students, with a special focus on inbound international students studying at North American colleges and universities. Services include:

Skills Development and Workforce Preparation

Designed and taught in consultation with academic and industry leaders, this specialized course will give students preparing for entry into the workforce both the skills and the confidence needed to meet this critical professional transition. The course is strategically located in the beautiful and dynamic city of Austin with coursework delivered at the HOFT Institute’s campus just blocks away from the University of Texas at Austin and the business/government/cultural districts of the city and state. The Workforce Prep curriculum is academically rigorous, artfully designed to enhance soft and hard skills, and fully customizable in content and duration to meet your institutional goals. The program can be offered onsite or online. Click here for more details

University Fast Track Programs

The University Fast Track (UFT) Program was created to enhance the cultural and academic preparedness of degree-seeking students to increase their chances of success in American universities. The program provides participants with rigorous, intensive preparation for college work. Students who participate also receive guaranteed acceptance into one of our partner schools, several of which waive the TOEFL requirement. University Fast Track is provided by the HOFT Institute, in Austin, Texas, and can be offered onsite or online. Click here to learn more.

Study Abroad Preparation, including Pre-Departure Training

With over 30 years of experience, the Chamber leadership team understands that proper information and preparation are vital for a successful study abroad experience. Our popular workshop offers practical tools to students and their families for negotiating the application and visa process, as well as provides useful information for adjusting to their new cultural and academic environment. We are able to provide this service fully online.

Academic Bridging

Many students encounter knowledge gaps between their prior secondary education and future expected coursework at their universities. The Chamber works with students to provide the academic bridging that gives students a solid foundation to begin their higher education or study abroad experience on the right foot. We provide this service both onsite and online.

English as a Second Language (ESL)

Few skills are as academically or professionally marketable as proficiency in the English Language. The Chamber’s partners provide internationally-recognized, best-practice English instruction for all levels in a full-immersion environment (both onsite & online). Custom-designed curriculum targeting the needs of specific sectors or industries is available online this summer. Click here for more information and to apply for English for Health Sciences. Click here for more information on our programs or, click here for a list of our partner schools.
