Charlotte Brook is president of CMBrook & Associates of Asheville NC, a career, performance and strategic planning organization. Prior to creating her own business, Ms. Brook was District Manager at AT&T Corporate HQ. She and her team developed the sales curriculum for a new more competitive environment, certified instructors and implemented the training at the AT&T National Sales School in Denver CO. Next, she enjoyed several years in sales for AT&T International reaching 120% of sales objectives and vice-presidential commendation for sales excellence.  

Ms. Brook then managed a Corporate HQ group of career development, performance management and organizational improvement internal consultants, introducing leading-edge programs to the entire corporation, domestically and internationally, in Europe and Asia. An expert in the field of competency assessment and development, Ms. Brook, as a consultant, did a skills analysis project with the United Nations interviewing all the Under Secretaries General on their view of the future of the U.N. Consequently, two-day focus groups were conducted in seven major U.N. locations throughout the world. The results were guidelines to determine  the future skills needed for hiring, maintaining, and promoting UN employees.  

Ms. Brook has interfaced with and has done over 100 speaking engagements for many corporations and universities on the essentials of implementing critical management and organizational practices. She has extensive international experience in the Asia Pacific and Western and Eastern Europe and has authored articles or been interviewed for numerous publications including The Wall Street Journal, NY Newsday, The Chicago Tribune newspapers, many local newspapers, radio and TV stations, and Business Week, Fortune, and the HR Executive magazines.

Ms. Brook has worked extensively with AACSB serving on their Board of Directors for two terms as well as the AACSB Executive Committee. She has served on over twenty-five peer review teams to evaluate and accredit business schools including visits to:
